Google now also shows a ready-made review link and QR code inside your Business Profile (open business.google.com, choose Read reviews, then Get more reviews). Use whichever is easier. This tool adds the message, the printable QR and works for client profiles you don’t manage.

Where do I find my Place ID?

Use Google’s Place ID Finder in the Maps Platform docs. Search your business name and copy the ID. It usually starts with “ChIJ”.

Isn’t there a review link inside Google Business Profile now?

Yes. Google added its own “Get more reviews” link and QR code to Business Profiles. Both open the same review form. This tool is handy when you also want a ready-to-send message, a print-quality QR, or links for several clients at once.

Will this link work forever?

Yes, as long as your Google Business Profile exists. If you move or merge listings, your Place ID can change, so re-check it after big changes.

Can I ask only customers who had a good experience?

No. Asking only happy customers is called review gating. Google discourages it and consumer regulators treat it as misleading.

How many reviews should I ask for?

Ask every customer. A steady flow of recent reviews matters more than a one-off burst.
