Every page needs its own local proof
  • Two or three real jobs in that area, with photos and what you fixed
  • Reviews from customers in that area
  • Local details: response time from your base, common problems in older homes there, council or strata rules
  • A map of the area you cover and your real address (or service area if you’re mobile)
How to use it

From result to action.

1

List real areas only

If you’ve never done a job there, don’t make a page for it.

2

Add proof before publishing

Write each page from real jobs, reviews and photos. Swapping the town name is not enough.

3

Link from your service page

Link each area page from the main service page and your contact page.

Questions

Good to know.

Still stuck? Ask us and we’ll answer within two working days.

What is a doorway page?

A page made mainly to rank for a search, which funnels people somewhere else and adds nothing unique. Google’s spam policies list doorway abuse as a violation. Near-identical town pages are the classic example.

How many area pages should I have?

As many as you can make genuinely useful. For most small businesses that’s 3–10, not 100.

Should the URL be /parramatta/ or /emergency-plumber/parramatta/?

Nesting under the service keeps your site organised and makes internal linking clearer. Either works if it’s consistent.
