How to use it

From result to action.

1

Use your real numbers

Your close rate and job value matter more than any industry average.

2

Check the break-even CPC

If Google’s suggested bids are above it, fix your landing page before raising the budget.

3

Track calls, not just clicks

Use call tracking and UTMs so the inputs here come from data, not guesses.

Where do I find my cost per click?

Google Ads Keyword Planner shows bid ranges for your area. Your account’s actual average CPC is more accurate once ads are running.

What’s a good return on ad spend?

It depends on your margins. If your profit margin is 30%, you need revenue of more than about 3.3 times your ad spend just to break even on profit.

Should I count repeat customers?

Yes, if you know your numbers. Use average lifetime value instead of a single job value for a truer picture.
