Pinwise (“we”) runs this website. This policy explains what we collect, why, and what you can do about it. Questions go to hello@pinwisehq.com.
What we collect
- What you type into free tools: nothing. Tools run in your browser and the text never reaches our servers.
- Email address and country when you subscribe to The Local Brief, join a waitlist or contact us. We use it only for that purpose.
- Messages you send through the contact form, kept for up to 24 months so we can follow up.
- Usage data such as pages visited, device type and approximate country, collected by our analytics tools after you consent where the law requires it.
- Account and billing data once paid plans open: your name, email, saved locations and reports. Card details are handled by our payment provider and never touch our servers.
Who we share it with
Only the service providers that help us run the site: web hosting, our email newsletter platform, analytics, and our payment provider. Each one processes data on our instructions. We never sell or rent personal data.
How long we keep it
Newsletter and waitlist emails until you unsubscribe. Contact messages for up to 24 months. Account data for as long as your account is open, plus any period the law requires for tax records.
Your rights
Wherever you live, you can ask us to show, correct, export or delete the personal data we hold about you, and you can unsubscribe from emails in one click. Depending on your country you may have further rights under laws such as the UK and EU GDPR, the California Consumer Privacy Act, Canada’s PIPEDA, Australia’s Privacy Act 1988 and New Zealand’s Privacy Act 2020, including the right to complain to your data protection regulator. Terms of use
- Our tools and guides give general information, not legal, financial or professional advice. Results such as scores and budgets are estimates.
- You are responsible for how you use outputs and for following Google’s policies and the laws of your country, including rules on reviews and advertising.
- Don’t misuse the site: no scraping at scale, no attempts to break or overload it, no using the tools to create misleading content.
- Content on this site is © Pinwise unless stated. You may quote short passages with a link back.
- Paid plans, when they open, are billed in advance, can be cancelled at any time and carry the refund terms shown on the pricing page.
- We may update these terms. The date at the top of this page shows the latest version.

We use a small number of essential cookies and local storage to run the site, for example to remember whether you chose light or dark mode. With your consent, we also use analytics cookies to learn which pages and tools help people.
